Molecular Mechanisms and Experimental Therapy in Oncology Program

Summary

The main objective of the IDIBELL Epidemiology, Public Health, Cancer Prevention and Palliative Care Programme is to reduce the impact of cancer in Catalonia.

The Programme is made up of a multidisciplinary team of professionals including epidemiologists, pathologists, geneticists, biologists, nutritionists, computer scientists, statisticians, economists and specialists to provide research and administrative support. They work together on projects and research studies related to the causes of cancer and its prevention, early diagnosis and the evaluation and improvement of quality in cancer care.

The Programme is renowned for quality and scientific productivity, is recognised nationally and internationally, and works in close connection with national and international research networks,  interacting and maintaining a privileged collaboration with highly prestigious institutions and with most international Public Health groups currently operating in the cancer field.
