On April 2nd Marga Frontera joined IDIBELL as scientific office manager. Her mission, in her own words, is "getting the researcher, as far as possible, do not worry about anything but to investigate".

Researchers of the IDIBELL and the Hospital Vall d'Hebron have studied a family affected by both type 1 neurofibromatosis and early breast cancer and they have detected mutations in NF1 and BRCA1 genes responsible for the two diseases, respectively.
