IDIBELL and Cedars-Sinai join efforts for technology transfer

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (Los Angeles) and IDIBELL have signed an agreement of cooperation on technology transfer. The agreement suppose the mutual support to increase technology transfer activities as well as access to the U.S. market for the commercialization of products or technologies developed by IDIBELL.

The agreement also aims to explore the opportunities to collaborate on research projects of mutual interest. Cedars-Sinai also may support translational research projects that develop in the IDIBELL with a clear market application.

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is recognized among the ten largest non-university hospitals in the United States that receive funds from the National Institute of Health to fund research. More than ten thousand people are working at the center, including two thousand doctors of all specialties. Physicians and scientists at Cedars-Sinai hospital engage in basic and clinical research with the aim of bringing medical advances directly from the laboratory to the patient. Currently the center is developing more than 600 scientific research projects.
